At each General Meeting members’ are invited to exhibit their Découpage on the display table and, if members’ so wish, they may talk about their work on display. This is a great way to expand and share knowledge on a variety of Découpage techniques.
Guest Speakers
Attending members’ hear and see the latest happenings/techniques from professionals within their fields.
Workshops
‘Hands On’ or demonstrations on a variety of Découpage techniques. Workshops are conducted by a chosen artist covering such topics as:
Lacquering and Sanding
Painting Backgrounds
Extending Your Images
Layout and Design
Marbling and Wood Grains
Surface Preparation
Members’ are encouraged to take part in the ‘hands on’ sessions or learn the techniques from demonstrations given.
Traders
Traders attend each of the general meetings selling products suitable for Découpage and introduce new products.
